Insecurities and Confidence (Encouraging Positivity)
Constantly judging and negative criticism creates insecurities in yourself and others. In my own struggles with criticizing others, I now realize it is a behavior that stems from my own insecurities.
My insecurities cover most aspects of my life from my physical appearance to my artistic abilities. It has stopped me from challenging myself to go beyond my comfort zone and has hindered my own growth.
I need to encourage positivity in my children and challenge them to try their best. Most importantly, the way to battle insecurities is by encouraging them to love what they do.
Confidence is not found by not judging or criticizing others and I need to change that narrative.
